Where I found my intrinsic motivation
It all started from a simple, small idea and a gentle push of encouragement. It grew to a massive idea. The journeys that I’ve done aren’t just me; they’re the people I’ve done them with, and the ‘we can’ approach.
What i offer
My speaking engagements vary from intrinsic motivation and drive, the ‘we can approach’, hardship and mental health, advocacy, to talking about disability and what it’s like for me as a person living with a disability.

“As part of our neurological studies, Tommy spoke to me and the other OT students at La Trobe University about his stroke and experiences since having a stroke. I had never met anyone that had experienced a stroke before meeting Tommy and was deeply moved by his story! His delivery and level of detail was truly outstanding. I would recommend anyone that is interested in learning about stroke to listen Tommy’s story!”

“Tommy spoke to our Board about his stroke, his 4 Points Australia cycle, his passion for inclusion and what’s next for Tommy Quick. He engaged and included his audience in his talk and was very witty – all while getting his important and to the point messages across”

“As a guest speaker, it is unavoidable that Tom’s story and achievements will inspire. However, what has made his interactions with my students most valuable is that he leaves them with a perspective shift. With his unapologetic honesty and disarming humour, Tom provides an experience that gets his audiences contemplating inclusivity with deeper insight, empathy and understanding. I highly recommend.“

“Tommy Quick presents with humour, compassion and empathy. Sharing his journey from suffering a childhood stroke, to his challenges on his recovery journey, to his uplifting story telling of resilience and the importance of kindness and impact of words. Tommy is an inspiration to us all and we look forward to celebrating his latest “@4pointsasutralia” Tassie trek in 2025.”
