I Have a Story to Tell
I have embarked on incredible journeys, riding over 10,000 kilometers on a recumbent trike. It was not just a physical challenge, but also a mental test. One of the reasons I was doing these rides was to illustrate the power of inclusion around disability through bikes, and another reason was to raise funds for the Stroke Foundation. Today, I proudly stand as a person living with a disability, ready to share my experiences and encourage others to find their interests and pursue them. Disabled or not, we are all human.
When I set out on these adventures, I never imagined the impact it would have on my life (both metaphorically and literally) and the lives of those around me. Every town we’ve passed through and had a conversation with, brought me closer to highlighting that stroke can happen at any age and promoting that we are all differently abled yet all human. But these journeys weren't just about the distance; it was about the people I did it with, the people I met, the stories I heard, and the life lessons I learned.
Now, as a keynote speaker, MC, and Actor, I have the privilege of sharing these stories and the messages they contain. I want to challenge societal norms and encourage others to embrace their own abilities. My journey continues, doing what I love and what I’m passionate about.
